Thanks for checking out Indiana Women’s Flag Football League!
The IWFF League was established in 2015 in Indiana, Pennsylvania by Julie Sadler and Kaycee Newell. We are a women's non-contact flag football league, playing a 5-on-5 game. The 2015 season began with 4 teams made up of 9 girls each. Our 2015 teams were: Cherry Bombs (red), Blue Ballers (blue), Pink Ladies (pink), and Hulkettes (green). The Cherry Bombs came away with the 2015 "Golden Tree Cup" with a narrow defeat over the Blue Ballers in double overtime. The Hulkettes took the prize in the "Dead Tree Bowl" against the Pink Ladies (meaning they came in last in the league).
In 2016 we worked hard to increase the size of our league to 6 teams of 10 full-time players, allowing additional space for 3 subs on each team. Our 2016 were: The Cherry Bombs, The Blue Ballers, The Pink Ladies, The Verde Vixens, The Monarch Mavens and The Black Widows.
For the 2017 we were able to close registration only days after opening it. We filled the league to capacity with 13 players for each of the 6 teams. New to the 2017 season you will also see Referee's added to our games.
Our season runs from late May to mid August. We play at Mack Park Fairground Field (entrance off Hospital Dr) on Thursday nights at 7:00pm. Games include two 30 minute halves with a 5 minute break. Spectators are encouraged to come watch on the sidelines - just remember to bring a chair or picnic blanket!
