Mission of IWFF Youth League
Since 2018, the women of Indiana Women's Flag Football League have proudly run an affordable recreational league for girls at IRMC's Mack Park in Indiana, PA. This league mimics the style of our adult league, where an emphasis is placed on camaraderie, growth, and building self-confidence through flag football. The IWFF Youth League is run by volunteers from our women's league.
2026 Summer LeagueDays: Wednesdays
Time: 6:30 - 8:05 pm Dates: June 10 - August 5, 2026 Location: Mack Park Fairground Fields Cost: $45 (Includes team shirt) Open to Girls, ages 5-17 *Players may request teams or teammates when registering. We ask that 14u and 17u players not request more than 2 teammates (this helps us keep teams competitive). We do our best to honor requests.

What to expect...
IWFF Youth League is a recreational girls flag football league where be place emphasis on having fun, supporting teammates (and league-mates), and building confidence. As the girls grow with the league, our coaches take an increasingly advisory role. Our goal is to allow the players to develop their own plays and strategies on the field, as appropriate.
- We play a 5v5 non-contact style of flag football.
- Cleats are recommended, though athletic running shoes will work fine (they just might slip when juking a defender). No sandals, crocs, or flat soled tennis shoes please.
- The league provides team-colored shirts and all game equipment (flags, balls, basic first-aid).
- Spectators are expected to be respectful or other players, coaches, and referees. We reserve the right to ask spectators (and players) to leave if they become belligerent.
- We are a women-run league. IWFF players volunteer their time to coach and referee. All coaches have up-to-date PA Child Abuse clearances on file with the league.
7U (ages 5 - 7)
Girls will placed on one team (Purple Possums) and be taught basic flag football skills through age-appropriate drills and games. Later in the season they will play scrimmage style games. Football size used: mini
11U (Ages 8 - 11)
Girls will be divided into (4) teams (Pink Panthers, Green Machines, Cherry Blasters, and Blue Berries). Our first 2 sessions are focused on learning basic flag football skills followed by 6 games and a Championship Day. 11u has a modified set of rules (see rules below) in order to slow the pace and intensity of the game. Football size used: pee wee
14U (Ages 12 - 14)
Girls will be divided into (4) teams (Silver Slayers, Orange Crushers, Black Mambas, and Ruby Rebels). Our first 2 sessions are focused on learning basic - intermediate flag football skills followed by 6 games and a Championship Day. Football size used: pee wee
17U (Ages 15 - 17) *New for 2026*
Girls will be divided into (4) teams - names TBD. Our first 2 sessions are focused on learning basic - advanced flag football skills followed by 6 games and a Championship Day. Football size used: junior
